Weekly unscheduled inspections
Our weekly inspections are conducted on a random basis so visits are not on the same day and time. This is done to discourage unwanted visitors.
Heating System
We verify the setting on the thermostat(s) according to the owner’s request and confirm that the home’s temperature is comparable. In the event of a substantial difference the owner is contacted.
Tripped breakers
We check the electrical panel to insure that breakers are in the on position and any appliance breakers such as water heaters are in the position as per owner’s request.
Frozen/broken pipes
The plumbing system is monitored for proper flow and visible leaks or is turned off as per owner’s request.
Vandalism or forced entry
The residence is monitored weekly for any vandalism or unauthorized use in the owner’s absence.
Pest invasion
The residence is monitored weekly for visible pest invasion such as pack rats, squirrels, or woodpeckers to avoid major damage.
Doors & windows locked
The doors and windows are checked frequently and after use of the home to verify that they are locked and secure.
Plumbing failures
The plumbing fixtures are inspected to locate faucet drips, running toilets, and garbage disposal operation to insure the home is ready for use.
Moisture problems
The floors, walls and ceilings are checked for moisture from ground water or ice dams on roof eaves and valleys.
Refrigerator checks
The refrigerator is checked for proper operation to protect the contents and to insure home is ready for use.
Phone service
The phone is checked for a dial tone to insure the home is ready for use or alarm operation if equipped.
